Webb11 apr. 2024 · saving .csv files from my bank's website as excel files on my mac. 3 months ago I was able to do this and 12 months ago it was ok but now I can't. There are violation messages, Read only messages even when I unlock the file and change it to READ & WRITE. I cannot open a new Excel file and go to DATA & try to import data it won't do it. WebbWhen a user tries opening a file on our network drive (word doc, excel spreadsheet, etc) the software reports the file is locked by 'another user' even when it's not. They're also seeing random 'Sharing Violation' errors when trying to save files to the network.
